What environmentally friendly cleaning methods does Eco-Hull Care use?
We use an underwater drone designed to clean your boat’s hull without removing it from the water. It works with a suction system and soft brushes that remove algae and dirt stuck to the hull.
Why is it better to clean the hull with a drone than with a traditional scuba diver?
Because our drone performs 97% of the underwater hull cleaning automatically, precisely, and without damaging the paint. Unlike manual cleaning with spatulas or brushes, which inevitably scrapes the surface and deteriorates the coating—even in the hands of an experienced diver—our drone cleans using soft brushes and controlled pressure. This extends the life of the paint, improves the boat’s performance, and reduces environmental impact.

Does my boat need this if I already have antifouling applied?
Yes. Antifouling paint delays the appearance of biofouling, but it doesn’t prevent it completely. Our drone helps keep the hull clean between dry runs, extending the life of the antifouling and improving the boat’s performance.teel to composite and wood.
Does it damage the hull or the paint?
No. Our drone uses soft brushes (nylon and stainless steel) specially designed to respect patent paint, even on freshly painted boats.
Does the drone eliminate the already formed snail?
No. Our drone is not designed to remove hard scale buildup like barnacles or snails already attached to the hull. Therefore, a dry-dock is required 2-3 months prior to starting the service. From then on, Our drone works preventively, removing algae and biofilm and preventing new scale from forming. With regular cleanings, we keep the hull clean and free of organisms before they become permanently attached. This way, your hull will always be clean.
Can Eco-Hull Care save me money on boat maintenance?
